I am building up four databases on the Askios e-group. They are small at the moment, but I hope one day they'll be a nationwide resource. On this page you'll find a description of each database, and a link to the online forms if you'd like to have your organisation/services listed on the databases.

To see the actual databases, please go to the Askios e-group and sign up. Only members can view the databases (membership is free but requires my approval to prevent spammers from accessing the group).

I also have a blog, Askios Directory, that anyone can visit, to see contact details of organisations that work on the CSA issue (link given below).

On this page:
Organisations
Mental health professionals
Support groups
Helplines

Organisations

The Organisations Database is located on a blog, Askios Directory, and is visible to the general public. It contains contact details and general information about organisations that work on various aspects of the child abuse issues.

Mental Health Professionals

The Mental Health Professionals Database is located on the Askios e-group and is only visible to registered members of the group. It is used by survivors or others looking for professional therapeutic help, to locate individual counsellors, psychiatrists, psychologists or other therapists, in cities around India. The process of finding a therapist can be daunting for a survivor, and with this database I hope to make it a less intimidating, and easier process.

Support Groups

The Support Groups database is located on the Askios e-group and only visible to registered members. It is a listing of any support groups on issues related to survivors AROUND THE WORLD. If you have, or know of any support group specifically related to the Child Sexual Abuse issue, please do fill out the form so that more people can be aware of this useful help resource.
