It's hard to know what to do - or even say - when you find out that someone you love has survived childhood abuse. And it's all too easy to do or say the WRONG thing and unintentionally cause your loved one even more pain. Supportive family members and friends can be a wonderful source of strength, so do take the time to inform yourself and be the best support you can.
